Mercedes parts Insanity
gmercoleza,
It seems as if Stuttgart is actively trying to confuse you at some times... (It's because we don't understand their "Order"/"Parts Number System") Everything is very, very orderly , until some one finds that for example: the best mechanical fan blade for a 124.128 is 606 200 01 23 (606 motor part on a 602???) The reason it's best is: #1. it allows Mercedes to semi- standardize parts system.#2.The lighter 606 blade is "Plastico" and much lighter[far less strain on the water pump bearing]and less inertia to overcome. You will also see the reverse(an example does not pop up right now). |

That there rear suspension is a wonderous "Thang" "Ain't It".
You can see how the bushing inside the arm is FUBAR.(In your picture) From GSXR's link inside his website: http://www.w124performance.com/images/W124_subframe/rear_links_all.jpg SO...Which 124 do you like better? |
