Throttle Wiring Harness
Ground squirrels gnawed some of the wires near the plug of the engine harness. If the plastic on those wires is not crumbling like they do on the main harness, can they be successfully repaired without having to replace the whole harness?

Engine wiring harness or throttle wiring harness? Depends on the extent of the damage but throttle wiring harness would be a lot easier. Significant damage near the engine wiring harness source plug could be a mess.

Just the insulation or the copper wire as well? If it's just the insulation, there's a product out there made for dipping metal tool handles and dries to a rubbery consistency. You could use this to seal the bare wires.
Red squirrels chewed the wiring under the hood of my 91 Marquis last weekend. Ruined the hood insulation as well.
