03 c230 using oil?
have approx 9000 miles on my 2003 c230 kompressor since my last oil change. Just checked the oil level and it says to add 1 qt to reach maximum oil level. Is this normal to use a qt of oil in 9000 miles. I spoke with several dealerships and most tell me it is. They also say that it probably only needs about a half qt and the FSS system is not that accurate. I run Mobil one syn in this car. No leaks eaither. The car has approx 53000 total miles on it.
