420sel thermostat
is there one or two when i took the cap off the reservioe tank it looked like there was one attached when i opened the manifold above the waterpump there wasnt is this normal

The spring loaded mechanism in the cap is a pressure relief. The thermostat isn't located in the top of the waterpump as on the earlier v8s, it is located on the passenger side of the water pump under the outlet for the lower hose.
