1991 560 SEL, Hard Gas Pedal

I have a 1991 560 SEL, its gas pedal is hard. What can I do to resolve that problem? Also car bounces when driven.

I thought they were all hard? Maybe you should take a look at the pedal itself. Or look at the linkage.

Whatever kind of ATF you have around the house. If you don't have any, buy the kind your transmission uses.
Alternatively, you could use a little bit of lithium grease - pop the ball and socket link, and dab a little on there.

Yep the FSM says you are supposed to lube the throttle links like once a year, along with the doors and locks. No one does though.

I find a Q tip works great.

What bounces? Seats? Front end? Rear?

I'd guess the rear, since the 560's have that self leveling hydraulic gadget. Might want to check the reservoir.

Mine is the rear as I need accumulators, but his description was vague.
