91 190e getting to much fuel. MBDoc Help

:rolleyes:This is my first Mercedes so I am on a learing curve here. They are a lot different than Saabs

My 91 190E is getting to much fuel and won't start. If I unplug the fuel pump relay it will fire but if I try to plug it back in it floods quickly and dies.

I am wondering what to look at? Fuel distributor, pressure regulator, or the EHA?

It is getting to much fuel for sure as the plugs are soaked with gas when I pull them after trying to start the car. The fuel pump relay works properly as it kicks the fuel pump on for a short time and then turns it off. Every time the fuel pump turns on the injectors spray fuel no matter if the engine is running or not. I assume this is normal as the as mechanical injectors although they do spray a large amount of fuel, more than I think they need to for startup of the car.

I need a little direction to find the problem.

Thanks for any replies.
