ABS Brake Help
2 Attachment(s)
I'm sorry to be so lazy about this, but my son is sick and I'm also stuck at work. I want to disconnect my ABS brakes until I can find enough time to really figure out what wrong with them. I've been told there is a wire close to the battery, but I see quite a few and I don't want to pull the wrong one. I've attached two images of my battery housing, and I was hoping someone could point out which wire it is (Well at least the rough location, I know the pics aren't that great). Thanks in advance. -Joe :)

Why not look on the fuse card and find the one for the ABS? Does the ABS handle the brake proportioning on these cars?

Sounds like a simple answer to a dumb question. I'll take a look to see if there is a fuse that handles only the ABS. Might just be the best idea. Again, my brain hurts and I just need to get it done. Thanks -Joe

First picture.
See the tab on the coolant cap??? It is pointing right to the connector. As I said, it looks like an In-Line fuse.. |

Thanks Arthur,
I didn't see a normal fuse, but I think I know which connector you are talking about. I've circled it on this image. If you get a chance, can you confirm that I have the right wire. Thanks so much, I know this isn't a major problem, just don't want to cause one pulling on the wrong wires. |
