Question ML Brake Job Parts

I sent email to BenzDoc to this effect .. then remembered my password ... sorry for the duplication. Can you tell me if I need any other parts to complete a brake job on my 98 ML320 (35,000 miles) so far I have collected ...
- Front and Rear Rotors
- Front and Rear Pads
- Front wheel bearings (replacing cause they were fried on my E class after 30,000 miles)
- Front wear sensors.
- Quart of MB recommended Brake fluid

Do I need anything else? Seals? Paste of some sort? Shims?
Thanks for the help ... I don't want to take everything apart only to find out I'm SOL and need to run to the MB dealer!

Get some of that stuff that you put on the edge of the pads to keep it from squeeling. I do not remember the name. Also, there is a reason those bearing failed so early and it more than likely is because of the way they were "tightened". It takes a little time to learn the proper way to tighten MB front wheel bearings.

ML Brake Job Parts

Speaking of ML Brake Jobs, Does anybody know where I can get instructions for replacing the brake pads on a 98 ML320?

Why so much brake work after only 35,000 miles? Do all the rotors really need to be replaced?

Post ML Brake Replacement Instructions

I seem to remember the DYI section had a piece on the ML brakes ... but, its gone now.

There is a site by Harold Picheman .. I'm sure I got the name wrong that has some pics and instructions .. but I would need more step by step stuff if I'd never done it before ....

It looks like an easy .. one-two-three kind of thing ... but you know how that goes .. a one hour job takes 6 hours 'cause you missed something ... wish I could help you more ...
