1984 500 sel engine dying
hey: my 84 500 sel is blowing oil (#3) and dying. is clean straight all black with 215k. is it worth fixing? is it maybe just seals? guides? any reccomendations for good shop in l.a. ?

Hows the rest of of the car?
If the rest of the car is in good shape I would say go for it. Either buy a rebuilt and grab a buddy and install it yourself or try rebuilding it yourself. |
How many miles does it have?
If these engines have reasonable care you just about cannot wear them out. Tom W |
