124 Trunk won't open
I have a 1990 300e and I can't get the trunk open. Up until a couple of days ago everything worked fine. My door locks and trunk lock worked properly and I could open the truck using the key or by unlocking the doors and pressing the trunk button.
Now I can't get it open. Putting the key in the lick and turning it seems to do nothing. Pushing the button does nothing. The car does not appear to have an alarm system. I really need some help. Thanks in advance. |

It has happen to my wife's 300E.
Be sure the lock is in open position. Press the trunk button, and lift the trunk at the some time. jack |

Try pushing the button with the key in and turned to the left. Also work the key back and forth a couple of times. Mine was sorth of sticking in the same way and it seems a little better now. Try some lock lubricant after you get it open.
