timing
I checked my timing on my 76 - 280 SL euro 110 engine. It runs 40-42 digrees at 3k rpm wo vacuum. Is this normal for this engine? My engine specs say it should be running around 32 digrees advance WO vacuum. Boyd

These engines respond well to extra timing. As long as you are not pinging, leave it. You will notice the lack of performance if you set it back.
