560sl Transmission Fluid
Hello All,
Could someone tell me what kind of ATF to use when completing a fluid change to the 560sl transmission. The part stores in my area say to use Dextron/Mercron III. Is this correct? Can I use a synthetic brand? Is there a special Mercedes transmission fluid that must be used? Thank you for your help. Benz Nut 1987 560sl |

Dextron III is the one you need.

Yes, DexRON III/Mercon is the correct ATF up until the 722.6 transmission.
