420sel power steering pump issues

Just had this thing replaced 2 months ago. Yesterday it's developed a horrible noise when turning the wheel. At first I thought it was the wheels. Started it up today, let idle for a minute then started turning the wheel and the pump starts making a loud humming noise during turning.
Could it be the belts are loose? It drives ok but it's embarrassing as hell when that racket starts up.
Thanks in advance!

belts

it's probably the belts, they are loose or worn and need to be replaced... spray a little WD-40 on them , if the noise goes away then the problem is not the pump..also check the fluid..

Ok I thought so. Thanks. I checked the fluid after testing the steering and it looked clean, a little frothy maybe. The belts were changed last year, I bet once the pump was changed the tension wasn't set right.
