...The poll will stay up.

FOR ALL OF YOU WHO THINK IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE, DON'T BUY THE MERCHANDISE! JUST MOOCH OFF OF US FOR FREE TECH ADVISE!

MercedesShop gives free advice and sells quality parts below list AND we ship! The prices for the merchandise will be for high quality merchandise such as Beefy T's, Aluminum Tag Frames and other HIGH QUALITY MERCHANDISE.

We don't have the money to purchase in huge quantities, so the prices MAY INFACT be SLIGHTLY higher than some HUGE companies that CAN purchase merchandise by the thousands.

To summarize, we WILL not sell junk on our site.

For those who want the merchandise, Thanks, we will be sending out some free in larger parts orders (to be determined).

RIDE WITH PRIDE

Decals for each car's rear window, Black License plate frames with MercedesShop on them, and Black 'T's for both of us! All of that would cost less than 1 day at Disneyland, and MercedesShop changed my car into the longest lasting 'E ticket' ride I ever had, and for a lot less than the dealer would have charged. (Phil, Plan on doing the same magic for our C class after the warranty expires in Feb 2002!)

Benzmac, you and bill and the rest of the MErcedesshop team, Have my full support in this. Like I said the prices are fine with me, in fact as I also said I'd EXPECT to pay more for some of the stuff.

I hope my ideas are also in consideration for the future, but of course only that a suggestion.

Keep up the great work!!!!!

Alon

Lightbulb Been Framed!!

I'd go for the license plate frames.
I've wanted to get rid of mine but have not seen anything that moves me.
I think a frame gets more eyeballs
than a decal.
I don't like decals very much.
A cap would be o.k.
A novelty watch would be interesting.

I still think Donnie should set up
a PayPal icon where members can toss in dimes and nickels when moved by gratitude for this website.
Perhaps a counter attached to these donations
would be a nice way to reward folks, like frequent flyer miles.
The reward being a decal or such. Token reward.

I met a Canadian today who just bought
a 300D. I tried to steer him to this site. I hope he joins up.
Thanks Donnie and all.

I would like a pocket T in light grey or silver.
The cap should also be light grey or silver to match.
It would be great to wear when the sunroof is open.
The license plate would be great in brushed aluminum.

The sticker should go at the top left drivers side windshield.
This is out of the drivers line of vision and would be easier to
spot then at the bottom left.

Maybe you could take advance orders to get the quantity needed for a discount. I would be willing to wait 4-6 weeks for my order.
But by the vote count it does not look like it will matter.

I remember when this subject came up about a year ago there seemed to be a lot of interest. Where have all those members gone to.

When can we see pictures???

Glad your legal problems are behind you.

No matter what you fix, there will always be something else to fix..
"Warranty" is just another way of postponing the inevitable.

I think a grille badge to accompany the high mileage badge would be really neat!

What kind of logo are we talking about here Donnie? MERCEDESSHOP.COM? Obviously we can't use the Star! There are all kinds of possibilities from ball point pens to golf balls. Yall keep in mind that we're not talking about "free" advertising here or you would be getting Fastlane stuff! The stuff we're dealing with here simply shows that we're a brotherhood of MB DIYers!

My first pick would be the Polo shirt. Standard dress for us engineers at my company -- Levis and polo shirts.
