rear glass installation info?

Can someone tell me what my options are for the rear windshield for my "92 500E?

Will the rear glass from a 94 E500 fit? Plug in to heater and work properly?

This is a fat wire(92) and the 94 is the thin wire.

I also need some tech advise as to removing the old unit a
and installing the new one.

Thanks in advance

Moose

Those windows are seriously glued in. If you aren't familiar with cutting the old window out and installing a new one, I would suggest a professional glass shop. A local independent will usually do you a better job than a National chain.

Sheetmetal opening is the same.

Getting the old one out in one piece is near impossible.

Glued in windows are one use items.

Don't want to be argumenative, but our local independent has been taking out and reinstalling windows for us for 25 years, and has only broken two, and neither of those was a rear window. He did take the one out of our 400E when we repainted it, and reinstalled it with no problem. The person doing the work is the main component here.
