Keeping my mechanic honest
 

As a new (2nd time) 560 SEL owner (91), I enjoy this board to hear experts like yourselves comment, so that when I go in for service, I understand better what they are talking about with respect to the car. Although I am handy and could do much of this, I don't much anymore, do the DIY repairs, but buy parts and "learn" about what's going on as I fix this car up; the little that needs doing really.
