Many possibilities!

Have you checked the basics? LIKE compression, ignition system including cap, rotors & wires?

92 500e

I am a mercedes benz technician and own a mercedes benz specialized shop.Any part ,you can imagine has been put in this car and every test you can think of is done and as i said when it is running normally it runs very strong, the problem is only from dead stop.I noticed yesterday, when i stopm on it from dead stop,it does not downshift to first, but if i am driving 4 miles an hour and do it it runs perfect,i have adjsted the bowden cable.what else do you think is wrong with trans?
