w210 e430 Pre Purchase Question

I am pretty much decided on picking up a '01 e430 'sport' model. I am wanting to know what exactly the 'sport' is specifying ? Dealer ( parts mgr )
says the suspension may be a little stiffer, but he seemed vague.

If I can get a direct answer on this matter, I would appreciate it. I have a '02 CLK430, but for some reason I do not consider it a daily car. I have a '92 300e daily vehicle I will park until I decide what to do with it. Plan is to use
the e430 as the daily vehicle. A> Is the CLK suspension more of the 'sport' suspension, surely it sits lower, or it is there no fair comparison of the
clk430 & e430 vehicles. < suspension / handling wise >

Must say reviewing some of the comments here, it seems like a lot of you feel the '92 300e is actually a better vehicle that the w210. Have not bought it yet, so let me know your thoughts. I am 6'5" I really want the ease of entry & exit. I do like the 300e, surely is solid, actually I would not
hesitate to say it feels more solid that the CLK as a vehicle, while the CLK seats pretty much hug you, giving more of a racer or porsche vibe that
comes over you the longer you drive it, or if it is driven fast & hard.

I seem to become a part of the CLK after a long drive. Where as the 300e it seems like I am one with the vehicle pretty much immediately after drive off.

Would anyone be able to give there thoughts on the w210 ( 2001 - 2002 )
vs 92 300e as a daily vehicle.

Thoughts would be appreciated. ** Especially from those who have had or have both.

The Sport Package is simply trim stuff on the '00 and later W210.

I like my W210 E430 1,000% more than my '88 W124. It has been more reliable and drives better.

What is the VIN?

If you have that checked you can see if the suspension is REALLY a sport susp set-up.

Make sure that the oil has been changed as well as the trans fluid!
