300te headlight improvement?

1989 300te...What is the best of the less expensive replacement headlamps? My headlights are so poor that the 'yellow' beam barely gets me seeing 15 feet or so ahead. I cannot afford to invest in the Euro lamps, and would take the knockoffs. Are they worth it? Will there be an improvement?

clone euro headlamps

The DEPO headlamps I put on my 300TE made a huge improvement. I think any knock off euro headlamp would be better than the original USA issue headlamp.

Any type of European light is an upgrade...

Anything from TYC, Depo, Bosch, etc would make it better....

Not to mention dress it up.

I love my DEPO's. Cost me $180 total from ebay. The beam is very good, but the cutoff isn't as good as if you want the Bosch ones....but I'd take a less sharp cut off and save $600 as the Bosch Euro's are $800 for the two.

So, the next question is: Where is the best place to buy any of these?

You're very lucky lol

I got my DEPO's here:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=mppf&sbrftog=1&dfsp=32&satitle=&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&fmmk=Mercedes&fmmd=&fylo=&fyhi=&mppfqy=&sadis=200&fpos=92630&sabfmts=1&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&seller=1&sass=autocrewgarage&fsop=32%26fsoo%3D2&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=

The guy ships very fast and has great customer service. He accidentally sent me the wrong box, and quickly replaced them and paid the shipping fee back to me. Turnaround was a few days. He also ships via DHL, who I like alot better than USPS.
