Engine stumble when A/C kicks in
I've noticed that my engine stumbles much more than normal when the A/C compressor kicks in. This is especially noticeable when sitting at a light and the compressor kicks in. I know the engine always adjusts when the A/C kicks in, but the stumble/drop in power/RPM is much more pronounced. What would be the possible reasons for this? O2 sensors aren't very old. Back O2 is a couple years old. Front is a year old. 96 C280

Possibly the motor mounts are sagging & you FEEL that engagement NOW?

Motor mounts were changed about 3 months ago. Feels more like the engine management is not reacting as fast to the additional load from the A/C.

with a/c on and stopped at light i had a rattle or as if something was loose. and would go away while driving. Read in a post it was the shock damper that is part of the belt tenisoner. I replacer the tenisoner and damper. Problem corrected
