Flex disc replacement
I need to replace my front flex disc on the SEC and will probably do the back one, too. Is there anything else that should routinely be replaced at the same time?

Inspect the center bearing and carrier, if the rubber is cracked or you can move the shaft around very much then it needs to be replaced as well. They are cheap though.
I am assuming that you'd have to disconnect the drive shaft at one end or the other to get this bearing off, too, wouldn't you?
If you do drop the whole thing, spray paint a line on both halves of the drive shaft so you know which way it goes back together, if it were to become separated in the process.
Unsure if the rear is truely a flex disc or if it is simply a coupler.
I believe both are flex discs.

As long as the poster knows the difference and doesn't unneccesarily replace a coupler.
