1991 190e 2.3
 

i have a 91 190E 2.3 and the transmission stop shifting
it goes into drive and reverse but it wont shift
what can i do or check

look for vacum line off modulator valve for starters. When you say it doesnt shift, does it just rev up and not go into next gear.. or does it try and just slip out?

I just had one that had a bad filter. Would go into first, sometimes second but slipped out in third.

no it just goes into first gear and reverse nothing else
