Red face 1996 E320 Wont Start

I have replaced the fuel pump and the crank sensor and the car has plenty of gas. It has 198k miles but still wont crank over. I put the key it, the engine turns and turns and turns and just wont kick over. I am unsure what to do next. Can someone please help me.

Fuel pump and crank sensor aren't cheap - what led you to believe they needed replacing? Did you check for spark?

If the gas comes at the motor with suitable pressure i would check for injector activity because it is easier than checking spark. If there is none i'd smack the K40 relay around a bit.

Cranks , Won't start

Try a little shot of gasoline or starting fluid i the intake(less than a teasoon) if it still won't fire it's an ignition related problem if it fires and dies it's a fuel related problem.

What you need is someone who knows what they are doing. The door receiver has nothing to do with running. The drive authorization comes from the chip in the key being recognized by the ring around the ignition switch.
