1993 300te engine light on

I have a friend with a 93 300te with an engine light on issue,her mechanic said something was wrong with the no6 injector? anybody here had these issues?

we dont have the code but tech said it was related to no6 injector? can i replace it?

What you are asking is if you should believe your Techs diagnosis. If you do, go ahead and change the part...
But I would never change anything until I had a positive diagnosis and I can not give you that without some info , like the codes ...
So, why don't you open the hood, push the button and get the codes.
That procedure is in the Archieves , so just search Code Retrive..
....and here are your codes ..

E320 16 PIN DTC Charts inc. pin 8, pin 14

That is why I sent you to use the SEARCH FEATURE...Code Retrieve...it is all in there ..

But, I will do it again...

Under the hood, next to battery..black box with lid
Lift lid ,,key ON ..press button for 2-3 secs ,,,release button..count Flashes from LED that come back..do it again until ther first one repeats ..write them down..those are the code the DM module has detected that put the CE lamp ON.
Tell us what codes come out of the magic box ............

300te

i have a 1988 TE that seems to run out of gas awhen the tank is 1/2 or even 3/4 full , any suggestions.
