ramifications of using regular fuel in a premium required car?
There may be a discussion on this elsewhere, but I could not find it.
As a Lexus V8 owner, I put premium fuel in my Lexus, but there has been a discussion over there about someone asking the ramifications of regular in a premium car. Seems like most use premium (such as I do), but some reported using regular with no issues. I am wondering if anyone here uses regular gas in their "premium" recommended Benz and if so, what engine do you have and does it seem to run well? I am buying a 3.0L I6 Mercedes and was unsure if it was regular or premium, but obviously its premium. Being a 6-cylinder is it really necessary on this car? Anyone here with the 3.0L using regular? I will use premium, but wondering if anyone here is using regular fuel in a premium car? |
