1984 euro 280e question after VIN check
I just checked my car on the Russia MB site. My car is what I believe to 100% original but I was wondering about the headlights as it has the 4 rounds with white fogs. I was wondering if I should install the square euro in this car as I like them better but want to keep it original.
The VIN says it had white fogs but my question is did they consider the square lights to have white fogs as well. I have seen some square euro with yellow fogs?????? The four white lights (two headlights, two clear fogs) in the european housing was the standard headlight setup for your car. The squarish clear european headlight housing was an optional setup. The squarish european clear headlights with the orange fogs are a French thing - I have a set for my w123. Those are harder to find, but can be done; I don't think either of the above harm the originality of the car - it's a euro model so any euro headlight setup is acceptable. Pick what you like and go with it.
