no idea why low beam is higher than high beam (yes i tested at right pins)

so nooooooooooo way is it 80/100 w (or 90/100w/100/130w as package says)

Whiter but is there more of it?

Don't be tricked by blue glass. I tried several types of blue bulbs and wound up chucking them in favor of Silver Stars.

Be careful. Those higher-wattage bulbs can fry your wiring harness!

Not to mention the retinas of the drivers of on coming cars. :(

Indeed. Dump the garbage DOT lights and go with the H4 equipped euro lights. 9004 and 9007 lamps simply can't make a good high beam pattern because of how they are designed. The better beam patters of the euro lights make an amazing difference.

why i tested stock/new amps was to verify that bulb drew less than 8 amp fuse,

im guessing alot of 'wiring harness' issues come down to crappy old bulb sockets, i had one go bad with stock bulb so replaced both (am replacing mb headlights with ebay crazy projector ones) and used dielectric grease on bulb pins when installing.

i cant tell if the new bulbs are better or worse! the whiter light 'looks' different than yellow bulbs so im not used to it, may try some $50 piaa bulbs and see if they do better

i also have 7000K bulbs coming stock watts from ebay, see if those are any more awesome. these were alleged 5000K.

I think silverstars are a good compromise on color, brightness, and light per amp.

Let us know how your turd polishing goes. I bet at the end of the day you'll still have a turd ;) Seeriously... the design of the DOT lights is just not very good. Stop waisting money on fancy bulbs, and buy a set of ecodes. Depot ones aren't that expensive. They might not be as good as the Bosch ecodes, but they're probably much much better then the DOT lights. They're not that pricey either.

These are a screaming deal. About half what I paid for mine!
