1993 300E, No Blower, no AC, Compressor not engaging
The previous owner of this car stated that the AC quit working suddenly. None of the controls for the climate control illicit any response from the blower or the AC compressor. No air flows in through the vents while moving at speed.
The fuses all appear good and there is voltage at the main link mounted on the top of the left fender. Any Ideas? |

Hi M.B. Doc,
I have removed fuse #7 and verified it as good. There is voltage at the fuse with the engine running. |

You need to check power at pushbutton control.

under the hood near the shock mount on the driver's side there is a fuse holder, its black about 1 1/2 long, open it, there is a bar/fuse check to see if it is not broken. This was the problem on mine. If you need pictures email me at johnbrault@cgocable.ca and I will go out and take some. Also do a search for the blower not working.

This is really obvious, but is it plugged in? If you look from the fuse back towards the firewall, there is a plug thats behind the fuse box. Its kind of hard to see, but it could be unplugged
