1984 380SL Engine Vacuum Schematic

Engine runs great after repair but there are three vacuum lines just dangling. I lost 2 mpg on economy, now at 16. Does anyone have a schematic of engine vacuum control system for the subject model?

Igor, is there any way you can post a picture of the said lines? I had to reconnect all of my '81 380sl lines upon reinstalling the engine. The manual shows only parts of the engine on any given page.

Thanks Southern Son,

Please check out pictures here http://aircraft_design.tripod.com/1984_380SL/index.html

Many thanks,
Igor

Excellent pictures, Igor! Are the lines attached to something on the other end? If so, post a picture of the particular gizmo and I should be able to decipher where the loose end goes. Otherwise, you may need to find a 380 close by and put the cars side by side and do a real time comparison.

I believe you have found your answer. Good Luck!
Also, auto zone has different size hard vacuum line should you find the need.:)

I finally scored the '84 ECS schematic. For those who'll come after me - go to the bottom of this page http://Aircraft_Design.tripod.com/1984_380SL/schem.html
