Help- 1988-300SE Rough Start & Idle

I have more than one friend that has a gas engine that is hard to start and when warmed up will run like a clock. These engines are the 450's, 300(6 cyl gas)'s, 500's, 420's and the 560's... Since all are gas is their a common problem??? They usually are hard to start and also idle badly... Any help will be appreciated.. Jim

if the fuel injection has been leaned down in order to pass emmissions test during warm weather but leaned too far, that could be a problem common to all.

usually has an injector leakage problem or possible fuel distributor, try adding a large bottle of techron cleaner when your fuel level is low and drive afew days, this is easiest thing to try first,if doesn't work, you may need to pull injectors and replace, and ck fuel distributor for leakdown
