It looks like the blower motor on my '92 400E needs to be replaced. I've seen blower motors listed with and w/o dust filters and with and w/o the squirrel cages.

Is there a difference in the motors (no squirrel cage) with and w/o the filter?

Can I find out if need the dust filter version w/o taking things apart?

Filters did not come out until 94/95 in 124 chassis.

I'll order the motor for W124 w/o the dust filter and hope I can xfer the squirrel cages successfully.

IN AGRIVATION TO TRY AND CHANGE THESE PLASTIC WHEELS WITH THE CHANCE OF BREAKING THEM PRESSING THEM OFF AND THEN BACK ON
