does a 89 300e have a 722.3 transmission?

i want first gear, always!

this ebay ireland dude, in email, says fgs switch wont work for 300e, but his auction says it works for 722.3?

so does anyone have this switch (working!) in a 300e 6 cyl?

Yes on all USA version 300E's with 3.0L motor, the trans is a 722.3_series trans.


ONLY on 2.6L 300E's was the car fitted with a 722.4_series.
