91 500 SL occational miss in engine
 

91 500sl has fresh tune up including new injectors and fuel filter, onstart up sometimes single cyl miss which clears up and sometime miss on acceleation which also clears up I'm thinking possible fuel distributer but not sure, any suggestions...............91000 miles on unit

You say tune-up?? how about spark plug wires & distributor caps??

plugs,wires dist caps and rotors new, At one time I had isolated the miss and tried a different plug,wire,and injector with no result, got frustrated reved up the engine and the miss disappeared but it comes back when it feels like it usually disappeares in a few seconds when driving off, If it should happen on startup it also disappeares in a few seconds.....HELP!!!!!!!

after all that youve done i agree about fuel distributor.prob not providing enough fuel at idle from 1 cylinder usually #3 or #4.
