oil change

This is probably an obvious one...I bought a 2004 E500 Wagon a couple month ago...how often does one need to have the oil changed? I didn't see anything about it in the manual.
Thanks, Andre

Depends on where you live.

The USA recommended interval is 13K miles and there's NOTHING to recommend changing it more often.

Car should have a maintenance manual in addition to the operators manual and you can get one from a dealer. Or, join owners online at mbusa.com and download one.

BTW, you must use synthetic oil to MB spec 229.5.

Thanks

Kent, thanks...I appreciate the help...I do have a service manual.
The other question I have is what is a schedule C maintenance...I have one scheduled in 6000 miles.

Maintenance booklet is not same as service manual.

Rather, it's a booklet that came with the car in the same package as the owners manual. It will describe what service C entails.

You can download from mbusa.com

Hey Chris I tried to join owners online but they didn't have the information for my vin correct. Then when I tried to email them the window size was wrong for my computor and wouldn't even let me send it to them. I far as I am concerned the MBUSA site totally sucks.
