oil change
This is probably an obvious one...I bought a 2004 E500 Wagon a couple month ago...how often does one need to have the oil changed? I didn't see anything about it in the manual.
Thanks, Andre |

Depends on where you live.
The USA recommended interval is 13K miles and there's NOTHING to recommend changing it more often. Car should have a maintenance manual in addition to the operators manual and you can get one from a dealer. Or, join owners online at mbusa.com and download one. BTW, you must use synthetic oil to MB spec 229.5.

Thanks
Kent, thanks...I appreciate the help...I do have a service manual.
The other question I have is what is a schedule C maintenance...I have one scheduled in 6000 miles. Andre |

Maintenance booklet is not same as service manual.
Rather, it's a booklet that came with the car in the same package as the owners manual. It will describe what service C entails. You can download from mbusa.com
