2000 E320 Trunk wont open HELP!!
 

Hello,
All of a sudden my trunk wont open. Not by the key, console switch, or back trunk button. I need to get in somehow at least temporaraly so please help. I read that you could pull the battery cable or move a vacuum line but need specific instructions and dont want to pull cable because i am not sure it it will effect anything else like my radio.

Get out your owners manual read and use the manual key to get it out of the "valet" mode then push the lock button it should manually unlock

Thanks for the quick response. All i can see is that if you lock the trunk seperately then the electronics wont open it. I did not lock it seperately and when i put in the key it does not turn so maybe its the lock?
