Why it goes bad

You might ask " why is there such a price span?" Here is the technical information: you have a 12 volt circuit and a 2.7 volt circuit. The inside wire comes apart, and the 12 volt goes in the 2.7 circuit. That often damages the electro magnetic clutch (2.7 volt does not like 12 volts), the main circuit board and the potentiometer. In some cases, it will shorten out the E Gas Computer ( which is $$$$ from the dealer), and in some cases the ASR computer.

Greetings everyone!

This is ineresting information I confirmed over the phone to day with Marc.
The owner of 4mercedes.com which is a very knowledgeable German guy.
His M119 remaned TBAs come with upgraded custom wiring which corrects the amperage from the problematic OEM wiring.
