2001 C240 stalling out after 30 min.

Won't start until it has sat awhile. Then it runs good for another half hour and stalls out again will not restart until it cools off. Happening more and more as time goes on. Did a search and only thing i can find is possible crankshaft postion sensor problem. Will the CPS be intermttent like this? What else should I check for?

Pretty classic CPS fault. Gets hot, stops sending elect signal. Cools off, works again.

Bingo. I'd start there as well.
