89 560sec: was starting and running fine, now it idles and won't accelerate!

Hi guys,

I just bought a 560sec a week ago. The car was great and starting / running / driving beautifully, but just this morning I tried to start it and it just keeps turnign over. It starts up if you keep the k-jet throttle plate down just a little, but then shuts off as soon as you let go. Fuel pump seems to be working fine.

I adjusted the CO mixture allen screw a little, and now she starts up (hesitantly) but she won't rev past 1500 rpm.

Any idea where I can start troubleshooting?

check over voltage protect relay located behind false firewall. Its square can with two fuses on top of it check the fuses and reseat them..
If this is ok then you must do a fuel pressure check this has to be right for the engine to run correctly.. unless you know how to set the lamda control I wouldn't turn the adjusting screw that is not your problem if the car was running fine then just started acting up. check the relay first
