280SE 4.5 Master Lock

Greetings. What a great site!

My masterlock door locking system is of course not working on my old 108 1972 280SE 4.5. Some functions do work like the trunk lock but no doors or gas door. A friend put a vac pump/gauge in a line under the hood at the firewall and the whole system responded nicely. One door seemed a bit weak.

How do I trouble shoot and what parts are the most likely suspects to fail in the system? Many thanks!
