Disabling daytime runing lights on '93 300E

Hi all. Can anyone tell me how would I be able to disconnect the daytime running lights on my newly acquired '93 300E (2.8) (in Canada).
I do know about the benefits of such system however I want to be able idle at night and/or day without notifying the whole word about it.
Thanks.

Alex

Aren't DRL's required by law in Canada or do you have the car in the states? I was curious and checked usenet and there wasn't any info there. For VW's in America this is fairly well documentented. In fact it was a matter of pulling a plug-in relay in my Passat. It's probably something similar in an MB.
Cheers

If it's like my 1991 300E (originally from Canada) there is a cable that can be disconnected from a box under the front passenger floorboard. If you want more info let me know.

Thanks guys. I just spoke to my mechanic and he said that there is a silver coloured relay under the passanger side footwell which needs to be pulled to disable the running lights. I will check it out probably today. If that will not work then will I check the cable Zoni suggested, the electrical layout should be very similar, for the car is essentially the same as the '91 300E (except different engine and engine management).
