Check engine light
 

My check engine light and SRS light wouldn't go off after engine started, and they been on for the last month.

Could some one please show me how to get to the area and check the code? Thanks a million!

More than likely, you have two problems. I see a multitude of causes for the check engine MIL on the C's, so to speculate is just a guess. I would get both systems checked with a scanner then start the diagnosis.

For the check engine light, most any mechanic will have a scanner to read your codes.
But for the SRS light, unfortunately, you will have to take it in to a Mercedes dealer because they are the only ones with the proper Scanner. The system is unique to the car (to my knowledge...).
BTW, is your SRS light constantly on? Or does it stay on for just a minute or so every time you turn your car on?
