Wheel removal
how are you going to do brake pads?
The lift has a bridge for a small jack so you can remove the wheels. |
Price
The price is way out of line in my opinion. Buy 4 of these instead. http://www.asedeals.com/flat-top-jack-stands.html

They're OK, but

There a lot more room under the car with a KwikLift. And the lift price is worth it considering the added safety. I will not work under any vehicle supported by jack stands no matter how good they are. |

I would love a two post lift but I cannot afford one or have a place for it. |
If there were any prices, I missed them. What did the one you have cost?

I like it. I don't like to let a cars suspension hang like that for long length of times like jack stands do. This one solves it for, what I consider, a decent price.
What interests me is why the " HEAVY-DUTY TRUCK" model when you buy the "Kwiklift special" package is cheaper than buying it non package price at $1697. Looks like the deal is there on that one to me. And what does the Heavy duty truck model hold? |
Truck model
7,000 lbs.
|
Thats not what I might call a Heavy duty truck... I would need at least 9000 to suit me... but... still might be the one to buy I would think. For the money.
|
The site mentions this: you don't need a 9000 lb lift for a 9000 lb GVWR vehicle.
