Engine Light

1989 190 E 2.6 engine light comes on and stays on. Just had the resistor on the alternator replaced by a local shop. They are closed for the weekend, Is there something that I can do now to fix it?
Thanks, Mark

On a USA version ONLY the O2 sensor can cause that.

ON a California version there are many items that can turn on the lamp.
