Real axle boot
Axle boot removal DIY'er or not? My haynes manual says leave it to dealer or shop due to special tools required. i am sure some of you have done it. (84-300D by the way)

It will let you install the boot without cutting the metal can. I do not know how well it work. The tool may be okay for DIY. But if I have to change the boot for a customer, I will send the axle out for rebuilt. I want to do it right the first time and do not want any rework. David |
