300TD

My 1983 300TD 278,000 miles gets about 25mpg around town, lots of stop and go. I got 30mpg recently on the highway 65mph average.

Our 2004 Jetta TDI Wagon gets 40mpg average city and highway

We just bought a 1999 E320 wagon, the first tank was 22mpg, all city, lead foot, with the AC on. I am pretty happy with this milage.

The 1983 300TD 285,000 miles gets 24mpg city average and I got 30 on a 600 mile trip last winter averaging 65mph on the highway.

1996 E320 mpg

We took the benz from Lexington Ky to El paso and back on I44/I40 in May, averaged 77 MPH and got a 27 MPG both ways burning hi Test. While in the Mountains 65-70 MPH we got 25 MPG running mid grade fuel above 4K feet altitude. Temps the whole week were between 88 & 97 Deg F ;/ the climate control was alaways on.

200K miles+ on the odometer.

This exceeds MFG mileage of 24 HWY/19 City

On my last tank of gas I did 526km and used 54 litres of BP Ultimate 98 octane.
I have no idea what that converts to in mpg.
1989 2600E.

Converting KM/Miles, L/Gal, Imp Gal/US Gal

To convert KM to miles multiply KM by .6214 to get miles
To convert Liters to US Gal divide Liters by 3.79 to get US gallons
To convert Imperial Gallons to US Gallons multiply Imp gal by 0.8327 to get US Gallons.

Disley
That would put your mileage at about 23MPG

Have 1984 190D, 2.2 w/5 speed. Been getting 32-33 mpg in town and close to 44 mpg on highway, 65 mph. Great car, lots fun to drive.
Years ago had a Nissan Maxima w/2.8 diesel. Not very many were imported and only for a few years. Would get 38 mpg on the highway at 70 mph w/AC on.
