Power seat 93 400E, 1 fucntion inop - cause?
 

The driver's seatback will move forward but not recline - thought this would be a motor, but after searching here, it appears it could be any number of things. Ideas? The door panels were off a week ago when installing new speakers, if that is of value or just coincidence, I do not know.

Not getting any reaction from recline position, seems totally dead.

If the seat back will move forward and not backwards it's not the motor. The same motor moves it in both directions. My guess is the contact in the switch.
