1986 300e replacing head?
I'm replacing the head on my 86 with a 90 model. Can someone help me with the torque sequence and torque specifications. Will I need new head bolts? Does the 90 head flow better? Thanks.

There's probably little difference between '86 and '90 heads. The higher flowing head is the 24 valve twin cam found on the CE's and after '92.

Cam sprocket bolts and holes in cam are different size between "early" and "late" versions, make sure you match up before installation (its a bear to retap the cam in the car). Check all the cam bearing mounting threads, they strip out.
