Crankshaft position trigger in the M104.991

Hi there,

Before I take the thing apart again I'm hoping that somebody knows what trigger system the M104.991 has...

Or maybe you have an engine standing around or just the flywheel, pictures would do perfect as well.

Many thanks!

ps. I anybody knows about a conversion to a multi tooth trigger that goes on the front... would be great as well...

can anybody confirm that it is 60-2 with cam home. reluctor type falling?

i have tried out now and it seems that it is a 60-2 with cam home, 4 pulse. can please somebody confirm this?

ok, then I confirm it ;-) it's 60-2, cam home, 4 pulse

a little correction here... this motor number has a single cam home, so no 4 pulse! single pulse home!

If it is ME 2.0 then it is 60-2 teeth on the crank. Yours should be this. The came is a single pulse for sure. The earlier flywheel was 3 weights. I plan on installing a newer flywheel into mine for the 60-2 as to get the trigger setup off the front of the crank.
Also an easy way to check this is to look inside from the bottom of the transmission and you can see the weights.
