A/C EC light stays on
Yesterday we were driving our 1999 E320 and heard a noise that sounded like the cooling fan coming loose. At the same time the a/c quit working. The blower was still working but only in the ec mode. What gives??

Just a guess that the AC compressor let go. The EC light will come on when the R134 pressure is low in the AC system
