126...first aid kit??
My '88 420SEL apparently has had a little custom work done to the rear deck. The previous owner installed two 10" (i think) free-air subwoofers directly into the deck. There is now a carpeted panel that looks like it's original, but I'm not sure.
Out of curiosity, did my car originally have a first aid kit in the rear deck? I'm pretty sure I've seen 126's with first aid kits in the back, but I'm not sure. Thanks. |

Yes. All 126's should have two compartments in the rear shelf: drivers side is for the first aid kit, passangers side is empty is for other storage. I've never used them, you're not missing much.

I thought I've seen two compartments in the back. I figured that was the setup. Thanks
